IGET One – Chuppa Chupps Strawberry

Description

Strawberry runs through six names on this menu; this is the sweet-shop one. Set against the plain fruit it is less strawberry and more boiled sweet — rounder, more sugary, and carrying the faintly creamy edge that strawberry confectionery has and fresh strawberry does not.

Nothing is cooled, so the sweetness runs uninterrupted from inhale to finish and coats rather than clears. It is the gentler of the lolly options, because strawberry is a softer base than grape or blackberry, but it still sits well above the fruit flavours for sweetness. Aftertaste sugary, with that creamy tail behind it.
