An unusual pairing. Grape is deep and sweet, raspberry is sharp and seedy, and there is nothing between them to smooth the join. What you get is a draw with two clearly separate halves: grape carries the body, then raspberry cuts across it near the finish and leaves a tart edge behind. No cooling is involved, so that contrast is doing all of the work on its own. Of the three grape flavours here this is the only one where grape is not the whole story — take it if Grape Ice feels one-note and the lolly version feels too sweet.
